From November 13 to 16, players from all corners of the globe will gather at the Pennsylvania Convention Center to brawl in Classic Constructed and Living Legend formats for their share of $300,000 USD and the prestigious title of 2025 World Champion!
Beyond the fierce competition, Philadelphia welcomes you with a vibrant blend of culture, history, and lively city life to explore. Climb the iconic Rocky Steps, or visit the Liberty Bell for a true taste of American history, and most importantly, don’t forget to indulge in the legendary Philly cheesesteak!
The World Championship weekend welcomes all, seasoned veterans and new players alike. It’s more than just high-stakes play, it’s an international celebration of the Flesh and Blood community. There is so much OPEN ENTRY action on the table for fans to dive into, from the Calling, to a Battle Hardened, to an absolutely jam-packed weekend of public scheduled events, special guests, renowned artists, exclusive merch, a cosplay contest, and more!

For those who haven't managed to secure a World Championship invitation through the National Championship Season, Legend Story Studios and Star City Games have put together a public event schedule packed full of welcoming casual and competitive events, ensuring there is something for everyone. Saturday will start off with a two-day Living Legend Calling, with a $30,000 USD cash prize pool, Professional Tournament Invitations (PTIs), and Gold Foil prize cards, while Sunday will feature a Classic Constructed Battle Hardened event, with $2,000 USD, PTIs, a Gold Foil prize card, and more on the line!
In addition to the Calling and Battle Hardened events, there will be an exciting assortment of public events on offer, including Crack, Shuffle, Play!, Commoner, Sealed Deck, Booster Draft, and much more to be announced. ELIGIBILITY
The World Championship is an invitation-only event. All players need to pre-register for the event. Players can qualify for World Championship: Philadelphia in the following ways:
- Obtaining an invitation to World Championship: Philadelphia through a National Championship event.
- Ratings-based invitations will be issued based on standings as of Monday, September 8, 2025 at 11:59 PM PDT, directly following the end of the High Seas Season. World Championship: Philadelphia invitations will be offered to players ranked in the Top 75 on the Global Leaderboards for:
- Elo (Overall)
- To qualify for a ratings-based invite, a player must have competed in at least 5 Elo-rated matches in the previous 90 days (from June 6, 2025 – September 8, 2025).
- Ratings-based invites do not pass down and are valid only for World Championship: Philadelphia.
- Please note that World Championship: Philadelphia will be the final tournament where Elo (Overall) is referenced for qualification
- Redeeming a PTI (Professional Tournament Invitation) obtained from a previous event, such as a Battle Hardened or Calling.
- Redeeming a PTI - PTIs can be redeemed by emailing protour@fabtcg.com with your name and GEM player ID. The player redeeming their PTI must send this email from the same email address registered to their GEM player account. PTI redemptions can be submitted up until Tuesday, October 21, 2025 at 11:59 PM PDT. If the player does not attend the World Championship, their PTI will still be deemed to have been used.
- Gifting a PTI - A player may also gift a PTI to another player by emailing protour@fabtcg.com with your name and GEM player ID number, and the name and GEM ID number of the recipient. The player gifting the PTI must send this email from the same email address registered to their GEM player account. PTI gifting requests can be submitted up until Tuesday, October 21, 2025 at 11:59 PM PDT. Please note that a gifted PTI must be used by the recipient to play at World Championship: Philadelphia. If the recipient does NOT attend World Championship: Philadelphia, the PTI will cease to exist.
- A list of invited players has been published here. World Championship pre-registration for invited players opens Friday, September 12, 2025.

Swiss rounds are best-of-one.
- Classic Constructed and Living Legend Swiss rounds are 55 minutes. (Players must present their deck, reveal their arena-cards, and begin play within the first 5-minutes).
TOP 8
- Top 8 playoffs matches are single elimination, best-of-three matches.
- Top 8 matches have no time limit. Players are expected to play at a reasonable pace or be given a Slow Play penalty.
- Game 1: The player with the higher standing in the Swiss portion of the event chooses whether to select the format (CC or LL), or they may defer that choice to their opponent. The player who does not select the format decides whether to play first or second.
- Game 2: is played in the format that was NOT chosen for Game 1. The player who did not win Game 1 decides whether to play first or second.
- Game 3 (if necessary): The player who did not win Game 2 chooses the format for Game 3 (CC or LL), or they may defer that choice to their opponent. The player who does not select the format decides whether to play first or second.
DECKS
- Decks must be registered by 10pm on Thursday November 13, 2025.
- Both Classic Constructed and Living Legend decks must be registered and be legal as defined by the Card Legality Policy at the time of registration.
- Players may not change their registered decks during the tournament and deck-checks may be conducted by event staff throughout the tournament.
- It is the responsibility of each player to ensure there are no distinguishing marks or patterns on their cards or card sleeves for the duration of the tournament. Vendors will be onsite to purchase sleeves if required.

World Championship: Philadelphia will feature $300,000 USD of cash prizes, Professional Tournament Invitations (PTIs) for the Top 32 players, Gold Foil prize cards for the Top 8 players, and a World Championship Prize Card for each hero played by the winner!

Calling: Philadelphia will take place using the Living Legend format, with $30,000 USD of cash prizes, Professional Tournament Invitations (PTIs), and Gold Foil prize cards! This event is the perfect opportunity for players without a World Championship invitation to experience the Living Legend metagame at a professional level, as well as giving players who didn’t make Day 2 of the World Championship a chance to go again.
The Calling is an open-entry tournament - no invitation required, everyone is welcome to play!

Battle Hardened: November 16
The path to the biggest stage in Flesh and Blood TCG Organized Play begins with a Professional Tournament Invitation (PTI), and one of the best places to secure these prized assets is Battle Hardened with PTIs awarded to both finalists! PTIs can be used to enter any Professional level tournament, including Pro Tours and the World Championship, and do not expire, compared to invitations from Pro Quest events that are only valid for the associated Pro Tour event they feed.
