- Communication - Articles, travel guides, conferences etc.
- Advancement - Advanced certifications, exams, feedback and mentoring, etc.
- Community - Judge community representatives, diversity, etc.
Level 0 (L0)
If you're just starting out, the first thing you need to do is to set up your JudgeHub account and complete the Level 0 exam. This certification is designed to familiarize yourself with the JudgeHub platform, the basic rules and policy of the game, and register your interest in pursuing the path of judging Flesh and Blood.
To become a Level 0 judge, you need to do the following:

Level 1 (L1)
After getting your Level 0 certification and studying up on the rules and policy of the game, you'll be ready to start pursuing Level 1.
The Level 1 certification shows that you have a basic understanding of the rules and policy; can execute game rules correctly and resolve common interactions between cards; and take simple judge calls, and determine the correct infraction and the associated procedure/penalty.
To become a Level 1 judge, you need to meet the following requirements:
- Passed a Level 1 rules exam (L1A) in the last 120 days (85% or more).
- Passed a Level 1 policy exam (L1B) in the last 120 days (85% or more).
When you've met the above, you're ready to create and submit your Level 1 checklist. A checklist is simply an application for your certification. The Level 1 checklist is reviewed automatically, so a successful checklist will be approved immediately.
- Sign in and navigate to Checklists > My Checklist > Level 1 - Create New Draft to start your checklist.
- Select the exams that you want to submit for your checklist.
- Submit your checklist and wait for approval.
Once your checklist has been approved - congratulations! You're officially a Level 1 Judge and ready to start judging in competitive events.
Many judges in the Judges of Rathe program are satisfied being Level 1. You should not feel obligated to continue pursing levels unless you want to take judging more seriously. But if judging competitive and professional events is up your alley, then we recommend you to work towards your Level 2 certification.

Level 2 (L2)
The Level 2 certification shows that you have a good understanding of the rules and policy; can resolve uncommon interactions between cards; and take more complex and nuanced judge calls. It also shows that you have some experience judging at the competitive level.
To become a Level 2 judge, you need to meet the following requirements:
- Be a certified Level 1 judge for at least 120 days.
- A recommendation review from another certified Level 2 judge.
- Judged two or more competitive events in the last 365 days.
- Passed a Level 2 rules exam (L2A ) in the last 120 days (85% or more).
- Passed a Level 2 policy exam (L2B) in the last 120 days (85% or more).
Then, you're ready to create and submit your Level 2 checklist. For this level, the checklist is reviewed manually, and may take a little time to process.
- Sign in and navigate to Checklists > My Checklist > Level 2 - Create New Draft to start your checklist.
- Select the exams that you want to submit.
- Select your recommendation review.
- Add any missing events that you have judged in the last 365 days.
- Submit your checklist and wait for approval.
After being manually reviewed by the certification team you'll receive a confirmation or rejection for advancement. If you pass, that's fantastic, you're ready to take on even more and bigger competitive events, including working towards leadership roles at events. If not, don't stress, you'll receive feedback about how you can improve your checklist submission and you can submit again.
